Girl Scout Silver Award Winner
Mia Graham
Mia Graham, cofounder of Operation Happy Holidays, has been a Girl Scout for more than 7 years. She is also a member of National Charity League, a mother daughter philanthropic organization, in which she volunteers for numerous charities around Southern California. While participating in National Charity League, Mia has taken on roles such as Recording Secretary, Vice President of Philanthropies, and most recently was elected as the President of her NCL class. She has also served on the Ticktocker Council for 2 years.
As a senior year at San Juan Hills High School, Mia has a cumulative GPA of 4.5. In addition to her studies, she is heavily involved in many different school activities. Mia has been a member of the Varsity Golf team since her sophomore year, and was recognized as a Scholar Athlete twice. She’s involved in clubs such as Dressember which supports women in their recovery, rehabilitation and prevention of human trafficking, the James Henry Ransom Foundation for mental health awareness, and the Sustainable Clothing Club.
Outside of school, Mia has been playing soccer since she was 5-years-old, ultimately competing at the club level with West Coast Futbol Club. While Mia loves hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, and listening to music, she feels especially proud of Operation Happy Holidays, which earned her and Liesel Blau the Girl Scout Silver Award. She is so grateful for the opportunity to help bring happiness to so many seniors during the last 6 years.
