
PEARLS: Empowering Older Adults to Live Active, Fulfilling Lives
In 2023, the Council on Aging received the PEARLS grant to support older adults in Orange County, providing evidence-based mental health interventions to enhance well-being and quality of life.
The PEARLS Program (Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives) is designed to help older adults manage depression and improve their quality of life. The program empowers participants by teaching problem-solving skills, goal setting, and behavioral activation techniques to promote mental and overall well-being.
